Bank
A consumer loan to a nonresident
A bank embeds the check into its lending pipeline and has a risk officer sign the summary.
Situation
The bank lends to nonresidents, and its regulatory verification requirements are stricter than an MFO’s. It needs explainable decisions, a second signature and evidence for regulatory inspections.
How it works
- 01The core banking system creates a check with an external application number and an idempotency key
- 02The borrower uploads the report and completes KYC on a portal with the bank’s logo
- 03Disputed applications go to the manual review queue with a priority and a deadline
- 04A risk officer signs the summary, and a second staff member confirms any rejection
- 05The evidence package for the application is kept for internal audit and the regulator
Result
The lending pipeline receives the foreign credit history in the same format as local bureau data. Every decision can be explained through the activity history.
