Three-way identity match

The simplest fraud is to upload someone else’s authentic report. The bureau signature on it is genuine, so the platform separately checks that the report belongs to the person who applied and completed KYC.

Plan All plans. Matching against the KYC document is available where KYC is enabled.

What’s inside

  • Three sources: the lender’s application, the credit report subject, the KYC document
  • Name comparison accounting for transliteration, date of birth and identifier
  • A result for each pair of sources, not one overall mark
  • A mismatch sends the application to manual review
  • Repeat applicants are found via an encrypted index without exposing data

Limitations

If KYC is disabled for a product, the match uses two sources, and the summary shows that the third source was missing.

FAQ

How are Cyrillic and Latin names compared?

Names are normalized to a common form using the transliteration conventions of the covered countries. A mismatch is shown with both spellings.

Can the operator see which pair did not match?

Yes. The result is stored per pair: application and report, report and document, document and application.
