Fraud indicators

Fraud is rarely visible from a single indicator. The platform compares the document with itself, with other documents in the application, with reports from other bureaus and with past applications, and shows each discrepancy separately.

What’s inside

  • Altered PDF metadata and layers
  • Name mismatch across documents
  • Contradictory amounts and dates within a report
  • Duplicate files by hash
  • Discrepancies between reports from different bureaus on the same person
  • Repeat applicants via an encrypted search index
  • Cross-checking recognition data with KYC data
  • Result: no indicators, suspicious, likely fraud

Limitations

A fraud indicator is a reason to investigate, not a verdict. An application with indicators goes to manual review, where an analyst sees the evidence and makes the decision.

FAQ

How does cross-bureau matching work?

If the borrower uploaded reports from two bureaus, the platform compares the same obligations in both. A report where a large debt has disappeared gets a flag.

Is data exposed when searching for repeat applicants?

No. The search runs on an encrypted index, and the personal data itself is not decrypted.

Shall we run a check on your report?

Send an anonymized sample report from the country you need: we will break it down in a demo and show the flags, the summary and the connection to your system.
